Student board representatives introduced; district recognizes state athletic and arts winners

Reason Atkins introduced himself as the District 279 Online representative and described new engagement efforts for the virtual school community.
The board also recognized multiple student athletic and arts accomplishments. Coach Randy Glassman congratulated the Maple Grove Senior High girls golf team for back‑to‑back state championships. Coach Sean Heaton announced that Henry White won the state pole‑vault title, noting a vault of "15 feet, and 3 inches" that set a school record. Coaches Runquist and Bodine described Linton McPherson’s second‑place finish in the 110 hurdles and the boys’ 4x800 team’s third‑place state finish. Board members took group photos after each recognition.
