Comstock Board votes unanimously to enter closed session for superintendent's evaluation

Trustee Kristie Poulson moved, "Motion to move into closed session to review the Superintendent's evaluation evidences," a motion seconded by Secretary Saralyn Brown and approved unanimously, the board recorded. The board said the closed session would be held to conduct the superintendent's evaluation for the 2024-2025 school year.
Recording Secretary Megan Amsbury's roll call earlier in the meeting showed all seven board members were present when the motion passed: Pamela Dickinson (President), Matt Schreiner (Vice President), Saralyn Brown (Secretary), Paul Lamphear (Treasurer), Kristie Poulson (Trustee), Hillary Cook (Trustee) and Richard Hathaway (Trustee). The public portion of the special meeting adjourned at 7:09 PM and the board moved into closed session. The board had previously reminded attendees that the meeting was conducted in the spirit of the Michigan Open Meetings Act and cited District Policy 2504 regarding public-comment limits.
