Board approves LED lights for soccer field to allow evening games

"There'd be 20 LED lights on each pole, which would give us plenty, plenty of light," he said, and noted the plan would bury cables and stagger pole placement to minimize new infrastructure costs.
Board members approved the motion by roll call and the superintendent said the proposal would likely be funded from 1¢ sales-tax maintenance money and included in budgeting for 2026-27.
