The board moved to appoint Marissa Ignacio as town clerk (effective 08/06/2026) to serve until the next election and authorized her to serve as a municipal agent upon state qualification. The board also appointed Marissa Ignacio as tax collector, effective 08/03/2026, with the stated annual compensation for the combined role. Wendy Humley was appointed assistant town clerk through 08/28/2026 to assist with transition and training for the new clerk.
The board also discussed committee appointments and agreed to post a vacancy for the CIP committee and to follow the town’s standard posting process before elevating alternates to full seats. Other items (c‑PACER program review, select board budget priorities) were tabled for additional review and packet material.
