At the July 30 meeting the board held a public hearing on the termination of existing hangar leases and the intent to enter into new lease agreements for Sites K1, K2 and R6 at the Marvoski Lincoln County Airport.
Deputy State's Attorney Joe Meador told commissioners these are renewals for individuals already occupying the hangars who have agreed to updated rates and to 25‑year lease terms. "These individuals are people who are already out at the hangars and have agreed to renew their leases for the new rate and for the 25 year lease agreement," Meador said. With no proponents or opponents speaking during the public hearing, a motion to approve the agreements was made and, following roll call, the motion carried.
