NSSEO strategic plan and facility needs assessment could affect River Trails SD 26 finances, board told

NSSEO representative and board member Robert Rognstad briefed trustees Oct. 8 on the NSSEO strategic plan timeline and a proposed facility needs assessment. Rognstad and Assistant Superintendent for Business Services Ryan Berry explained that the assessment could have budgetary implications for District 26 and that the district was awaiting additional detail.
Rognstad said he would follow up with more information after NSSEO's Oct. 9 meeting; Dr. Megerle was also noted as sharing details in a routine Friday update to staff. The board did not take action on the NSSEO materials at the Oct. 8 meeting but flagged the item for further review when formal cost estimates are available.
