Sanger ISD board approves consent items, postpones Clear Creek public hearing

The Sanger Independent School District Board of Trustees convened a regular meeting and public hearing on Dec. 15, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the 6th Grade Campus Cafeteria in Sanger. Board President Sarah York announced a quorum and led the agenda that included routine reports, recognitions and a public hearing that was postponed.
The board approved the consent agenda by motion of Mitch Hammonds, seconded by Bruce Elsey; the vote was recorded 7-0. Later in the meeting the board also approved employee sheets for December (motion by Staci Moore, second by Jarrod Roberts, Vote: 7-0) and a list of library materials in compliance with statutory requirements and EFB (LOCAL) (motion by Jesse Hunter, second by Jarrod Roberts, Vote: 7-0). The scheduled public hearing on the Clear Creek Elementary Campus Targeted Intervention Plan was postponed to a later date and was not heard at this meeting.
The meeting included recognitions for Employees of the Month and cross-country state qualifiers, campus spotlights on Chisholm Trail Elementary and Sanger Middle School, and routine department reports including financials, operations, curriculum and instruction, human resources, safety and athletics. The session adjourned at 7:04 p.m.
