Students singled out locations discussed with staff, including McWhorter Park and areas adjacent to baseball fields, and proposed interactive educational elements such as a scavenger-style 'spot a monarch' activity for young visitors.
Board members and staff discussed grant avenues; Eric flagged potential funding through the Missouri Department of Conservation to support larger monarch plantings in the fall.
