Melissa McAloon presented Dakota Learn and Play program details; Annette Hackbarth outlined a proposed high-school band trip to New York in 2026 and asked the board to consider support; Jenny Keffer and Ginnie Cunningham presented student achievement information and a community forum/survey update. No binding action on the band trip was recorded at the Nov. 19 meeting beyond the presentation and later a surplus-uniform motion related to new uniforms was approved.
The presentations provided the board with fiscal context from the auditor and program updates that will inform future board decisions.
