Board tables transportation contract decision pending more information

Mathers recommended Freeport Transportation for the district’s bussing contract based on cost review, but after discussion the board voted to table final action until the December meeting in order to obtain more information.
No award was made at the Nov. 19 meeting; the board will revisit the matter at its December meeting when additional details are available.
