Board adopts 2025–26 Dakota School Calendar

On Nov. 19 the Dakota CUSD 201 Board of Education approved the proposed school calendar for the 2025–26 school year.
Superintendent-elect and high school principal Jenny Keffer told the board the calendar was drafted by a committee with input from administration, parents and teachers and is intended to balance instructional goals with community needs. Jeremy Bradt moved to approve the calendar and Shane Riggle seconded; the motion passed 6 Yes, 0 No.
The approved calendar will guide staffing, vacations and testing schedules for SY 25–26; administrators will post final calendar details on district communications channels.
