Board nominates Guillermo Lopez for MASB Region 7 and approves meeting date revisions and contract amendment

The Howell Public Schools Board on Feb. 10 nominated Guillermo Lopez as the district's Region 7 candidate for the Michigan Association of School Boards (MASB) Board of Directors election following a motion by Ms. Pasini and support from Ms. Conn. The nomination passed 5-0.
At the same meeting the board approved revised board meeting dates for 2025 and approved a Non-Affiliated Contract First Modification Amendment for an Instructional Coach (Exhibits J and K). Both actions were taken by unanimous vote. The board noted that these items were reviewed by the relevant committees prior to action.
Board minutes list votes and mover/second information for transparency and record-keeping; staff will process the nomination paperwork and implement the contract amendment per Exhibit K.
