High school Principal Dr. Carter and Executive Director J. Trombka presented three new course proposals for the high school during the board's Jan. 14 work session: AP U.S. Government; Theater Performance and Tech; and Peer-to-Peer.
The Curriculum Committee had previously reviewed these proposals at its Dec. 12 meeting, according to Trustee Scooter DeMare’s committee report. The board discussed the proposals as part of the curriculum update; the minutes record the course titles and the committee referral but do not include a full syllabus or staffing details.
No immediate vote was recorded on adoption of the courses in the work session minutes; further action will likely occur through the normal curriculum approval process and any necessary staffing or schedule adjustments.
