Students of the Month honored; student liaison reports school events

The board recognized three Students of the Month: Sylvia Dell (Chelsea High School), Lucas Lanczki (Beach Middle School) and Emma Donnelly (North Creek Elementary). The recognition was recorded under Special Presentations & Celebrations on the Nov. 4 agenda.
Student liaison Bradley Dunn briefed the board on school happenings: AP Language held mock elections, Beach Middle School instituted a no-phone policy, elementary school parades took place, and the Interact Club held an Arbor Day event on Nov. 2. Board members Michelle Craig and Kate Henson offered brief commendations, with Craig saying she "Attended the HS Musical and enjoyed it," and Henson praising teacher involvement in the elementary parades.
