Students of the Month named; CHS introduces new social worker

The Chelsea School District board recognized Students of the Month for October: Emma Donnelly (North Creek Elementary), Matthew Brekke (South Meadows Elementary) and Jose Agustin (Chelsea High School). The board indicated Emma Donnelly will be recognized at the Nov. 18 board meeting.
The agenda also listed a bench donation from Rod's Motorcycle Awareness and Suicide Prevention Foundation and introduced Rachel Tierney as a new social worker at Chelsea High School. Student liaison Jordan Nelson reported that the high school musical broke attendance records and encouraged board support at the upcoming Guilded Gala fundraiser on Dec. 14.
