The Belding Area Schools Board of Education on April 21 voted unanimously to approve an overnight trip for four high school Business Professionals of America (BPA) students to attend the national conference in Kissimmee, Florida, May 6–11, 2025.
The motion was made by Jennifer Lien and supported by Mike Baker. Superintendent Brent Noskey and Director of Finance Slater Martin noted community donations that helped make the students’ attendance possible; Martin publicly thanked several local businesses for their contributions supporting BPA’s trip.
The approval was a standard consent motion and passed by unanimous vote. Board members did not record further conditions or restrictions for the trip.
