FY24 audit still pending; committee agrees timeline for tentative 2024 tax levy ahead of Dec. audit completion

Assistant Superintendent Ryan Berry told the committee the FY24 financial audit has not yet been completed and that the district hopes to have the final Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) and Annual Financial Report (AFR) by the December Board meeting. No audit findings or dollar amounts were discussed in the committee minutes.
Separately, Mr. Berry reviewed the tentative 2024 tax-levy timeline and the committee agreed to bring the levy to the full Board of Education at the Nov. 12 meeting. The committee recorded the levy review as informational and part of regular budget timelines; formal adoption of a tax levy was not recorded at the Nov. 4 committee meeting.
