Board approves multiple employment agreements and salary schedules through 2027
Summary
The board approved principal, business manager and curriculum director employment agreements (July 1, 2024–June 30, 2027) and a Superintendent base salary schedule (through June 30, 2026); motions carried unanimously among members present.
The Manistee Area Public Schools Board approved several employment agreements and associated salary schedules at its Feb. 12 meeting. The board approved updated "Exhibit A - Administrative Procedures" for principal agreements covering July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2027; it also approved the Business Manager and Curriculum Director agreements with the same July 1, 2024–June 30, 2027 term.
Separately, the board approved an "Exhibit A - Superintendent Base Salary Schedule" as an attachment to the Superintendent's contract covering July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2026. Each of these actions passed on recorded roll-call votes of members present (5-0); Ms. Johnson and Mr. Thompson were absent for the meeting.
