The Manistee Area Public Schools Board of Education adopted a 2025 Board Code of Ethics at its regular meeting on Feb. 12, 2025. The motion, made by Justine Slawinski and supported by Dr. Paul Antal, passed on a roll call vote of the five members present; Ms. Johnson and Mr. Thompson were recorded as absent.
Board member Justine Slawinski led the motion and the clerk recorded the vote as unanimous among members in attendance. The same sequence of procedural actions included approval of a corrected May meeting date. The board also voted to table the proposed Board Goals 2025 until a future study session, at the request of Slawinski, for further discussion.
