Board approves first amended 2024–25 operating budgets across multiple funds

Ms. Larsen presented the proposed first amended 2024/25 operating budgets across numerous funds including the General Fund; Adult Education; Food Service; International Program; Student/School Activity Fund; 2016, 2019, 2022 and 2024 Bond Debt; Building & Site; 2022 and 2024 Capital Projects Funds; and the Internal Service Fund. The board moved to approve the amendments (motion by Susan DeLong, seconded by Wendy Tobias) and the motion passed with six yeas and one absence.
Board members expressed satisfaction with the district's fiscal posture. "She will be reporting this evening on the strong financial position of the district," Superintendent Dr. DiPonio said in his report, and board members thanked Ms. Larsen, Laura, and Rachel for their budget work.
