The board approved the Tentative Agreement with the Lake Shore Federation of Educational Secretaries (LSFES) Local 6195 on a motion by Susan DeLong, seconded by Amy Thomas-August. The vote was recorded as Yea 6, Nay 0, Absent 1 (Amber Hildebrand).
Superintendent and board leaders thanked negotiators and staff involved in the process. In his superintendent's report earlier in the meeting, the district noted the contract achieved what the board described as the "highest wages in the history of the district." President Kurt Ziegler thanked everyone involved in negotiations following the vote.
