ADK highlights volunteer work as Lake Shore board honors five retirees

The Lake Shore Board of Education heard from Cindy Gleisman of Alpha Delta Kappa, who described the group's 65-year mission to advance education and invited current staff to join the volunteer organization.
Superintendent Dr. DiPonio used his report to thank ADK and to recognize five retiring employees. "This evening is a bittersweet first step in saying goodbye," Dr. Lewis said during remarks honoring the retirees; President Kurt Ziegler added, "There are 125 years of service between you!" Board members thanked the retirees and acknowledged their long service to the district.
