The Lake Shore Board of Education unanimously approved the Consent Agenda and accepted the Personnel Report as presented during its Jan. 6 organizational meeting.
The board also set the calendar and locations for regular meetings for 2025, and appointed the Board Treasurer to serve as Lake Shore's representative to the Macomb Intermediate School District's annual Budget Hearing. Elizabeth Munger inquired about the LSFEE golf outing date; Jack Dick said the outing would not be held on June 23.
Other routine appointments included naming the Board's representative to the Lake Shore Foundation for Educational Excellence and renewing membership in the Michigan Association of School Boards with the Vice President serving as the liaison to MASB and the Macomb County School Board Association's Legislative Committee. "Move to approve the Consent Agenda, as presented," the record shows as the motion that carried the consent items.
