Durand Area Schools board approves consent agenda, records multiple resignations and hires

The Durand Area Schools Board of Education unanimously adopted the consent agenda at its Dec. 2, 2024 meeting. The consent package included meeting minutes (11/11/24 and 11/26/24), the financial report, and personnel items; member Darrick Huff moved approval and member J. Zdunic supported the motion.
Under the personnel portion of the consent agenda the board recorded resignations from Jackie Mavis (Middle School Secretary), Stacy Wilson (high school paraprofessional) and Bryan Carpenter (high school athletic director). The board approved hires of Melissa Raley (Middle School Secretary), David Priest (wrestling assistant coach), Alex Knipp (weight-room, winter), and Aaron Demo (varsity baseball coach). Roll call vote: AYES all (7).
