Commissioner Bradley (listed in the opening roll call) reported that county crews had done work on roads in Davis Township in the area of the solar farms and that "they've been doing road work and that he thinks they are in better shape now." Commissioners discussed remaining washouts and agreed county crews will continue rounds to address outstanding damage.
Discussion expanded to other county road priorities. Commissioners described sites where culverts are too short and embankments have sloughed off, noting a school bus travels over one damaged section. One commissioner said the county needs to move beyond "band-aid" repairs and consider putting larger culverts and more extensive fixes on Dennis and the road crew's project list.
