The Dakota CUSD #201 Board of Education certified election results from April 1, 2025, and declared Brady Schlueter, Joshua Rowe, Eric Stiegler and Karl McPeek elected to the board. The motion to declare the winners, made by Shane Riggle and seconded by Karen Kleckner, passed by a roll call vote of 7 Yes and 0 No.
During the reorganizational portion of the meeting, Interim Superintendent Craig Mathers served as president pro‑tem to accept nominations. A motion by Mike Alexander, seconded by HeiDee Meier, nominated Eric Stiegler as board president; the motion passed with six Yes votes and one abstention (Eric Stiegler). The board similarly approved Jeremy Bradt as vice‑president and HeiDee Meier as secretary; each nomination passed with 6 Yes, 0 No and 1 abstain. The board also appointed Clarissa Metz as District Treasurer and voted to establish Davis State Bank as the depository for district funds. All appointments and the depository motion passed unanimously, 7–0.
The newly seated members read and agreed to the oath of office and the board code of conduct, and board meeting dates for school year 2025–26 were confirmed to remain the third Tuesday of each month unless proper notice is given. The reorganization adjourned before the regular meeting began.
