During the Aug. 21 meeting, District Administrator Erica Schley reviewed staff training and facility updates in advance of the school year. Schley outlined the new-teacher and substitute training program, recapped an all-staff inservice that included presentations from the Flambeau Forever Foundation, Kirk Strang on confidentiality, Rusk County Health and Human Services on mandated reporting and Marshfield Clinic on the "Stop the Bleed" program. The CPI team will receive CESA training and Title IX requirements were discussed.
Schley also reported facilities updates: the blacktop project is complete and the audio system installation has been scheduled. The minutes list these operational items as part of Schley's administrative report; the board accepted the report and moved to action items thereafter.
