The Marysville Public Schools Board of Education on Oct. 24 approved collective bargaining agreements covering custodial maintenance, paraprofessionals and food-service employees as part of a consent package that passed by a 7–0 vote.
Interim/Assistant Superintendent Andrea Glynn presented the contracts for the Marysville Education Custodial Maintenance (MEA/NEA), the Marysville Paraprofessional Association (MEA/NEA) and the Marysville Food Service Employees. The Board also appointed Tracie Eschenburg to serve as Interim Superintendent for the remainder of the 2024–25 academic year.
The consent grouping that included the contracts and the appointment was moved by Barry Kreiner and supported by Mike Rutallie; the motion carried unanimously (Ayes 7, Nays 0). No public commenters spoke about the personnel items during the meeting's public-comment period.
