The board noted the plan includes six committees that provide goal statements, objectives and strategies: Student Achievement (board member Jennifer Klipp), Wellness Team (Cherryl Maddox-Smith), Professional Development (Cassidy Thomas), Community Relations (Jennifer Ray), Business/Finance (Jason Zdunek) and Facilities/Learning Environment (Kristen Cambensy and Eric Smith). Members discussed implementation timelines (multi-year) and concluded the district does not need substantive changes to the plan at this time.
Board members emphasized continuing MTSS implementation and monitoring outcomes as the plan moves into later years of its cycle.
