He said the Board meeting on May 18 will be held at the Fine Arts Center to celebrate retirees and will include several new hires; he also reported that teacher negotiations will be provided during closed session at that meeting.
Kirby noted the Michigan Supreme Court heard arguments in the Section 31aa court case and that Centegix safety infrastructure is being installed and tested after hours with weekly update meetings; training for MERT teams is scheduled to begin in May.
