Dickson County accepted a nonmatching state ambulance grant and will receive a free ambulance

"Dickson County is one of them is to get a free ambulance. It's non matching. This is free money," the mayor said during the work session. Commissioners voted to accept the award and thanked staff for pursuing the grant.
The acceptance will be formalized at the regular meeting with any necessary procurement steps and placement of the vehicle into the county fleet.
