Preble County BZA renews five-year permit for Sojourner Recovery Services campus

Kramer said the facility has housed up to 16 residents, has operated without significant incidents and provides an intensive therapeutic program that includes licensed therapists and 24/7 behavioral health staff. Gehring added the organization operates a 988 call center for five counties and described the site as a "peaceful" treatment location that supports recovery work.
Board member Sarah Driver asked about resident supervision and local impacts; Gehring said residents typically do not leave the property unescorted and that the program emphasizes return to community supports. The Board moved to renew the permit for five years under Section 1103.02 Letter Q; the motion passed unanimously on roll call.
