Waco ISD holds oath ceremonies and reorganizes board leadership

Later, after a brief closed session, trustees completed a reorganization vote. The slate brought forward by board members named Jose Vidania as board president, Jeremy Davis as vice president and Jim Patton as secretary; the slate passed unanimously.
Outgoing board president Cordewick offered brief farewell remarks before leaving the dais and trustees paid tribute to her service and leadership. The board also recognized long-service staff and retirees during the announcements portion of the meeting.
