A resident, Adrian Seltzer (Wynwood), told the committee he could not "believe it took this long" to act and thanked officials for improving safety at the junction. Commissioner Grama called the prohibition a "first step" and urged it as a move toward improving safety, while Commissioner Daley asked staff to include a map or image in public notices so residents could better place the intersections.
The committee voted to recommend advertising the ordinance and directed the township secretary to post notice of intent; the committee said the Montgomery County study is ongoing and this would be a near‑term, temporary measure to reduce crash risk.
