The treasurer presented the town's fund reports and utility adjustments including a $5.05 water leak repair credit and a meter replacement credit; council members reviewed and moved to approve the routine financial items.
Staff also presented an emergency payment voucher (APV) for $4,462 to East Service Station to cover an urgent repair related to sewer overflow risk; council members were asked to sign the paperwork. The utility representative said the APV was processed due to an emergency and asked the council to sign after the meeting.
Separately, utility staff told the council they submitted a grant application for an auto-sampler at the wastewater plant and that the town's co-funding obligation would be "about 12 to 1,500 if we're awarded." Staff said they expect interviews and award notifications in the next four to five weeks. The council recorded the financial reports and directed staff to follow up on the grant timeline and the emergency payment paperwork.
