Utility staff present final wellhead protection plan; council to vote after public sign-in

The utility representative said the plan is the final rendition and needs a council vote before submission to state authorities: "This should be the final rendition of it. It just needs voted on. And then if it gets accepted, we send it in to the state," a staff member said. The council asked that attendees sign the meeting board to confirm they had listened for the wellhead protection plan requirement. If approved, the plan would conclude that project and become a part of regulatory filings going forward.
Staff also noted related items on their agenda, including upcoming training opportunities and equipment quotes for in-house repairs, which the council discussed later in the meeting.
