She highlighted a top award of $100,000 to Story County Conservation for upgrades at Hickory Grove Park and the new Deppie Family Conservation Area, and noted the application deadline for the current round is Sept. 30. Sevdi also mentioned small business grants are available and urged anyone with questions to consult the foundation website or contact her directly.
Councilors thanked Sevdi for the update and asked staff to ensure community partners had application access on the city website.
