The Lake Shore Board of Education unanimously approved a slate of routine items during the meeting’s action portion.
A motion to approve the Consent Agenda (moved by Susan DeLong, seconded by Keneth Gulock) passed 7–0. The Personnel Report was accepted (motion by Amber Hildebrand, second by Susan DeLong) and the board adopted a resolution recognizing Employee Appreciation Week, May 5–9, 2025 (motion by Amy Thomas‑August, second by Keneth Gulock); all votes were recorded as yea (7–0).
President Kurt Ziegler commented that staff appreciation should extend beyond a single week, and trustees used the standing items section to reiterate congratulations to teachers and staff for the school year.
