The update also addressed athletic surfaces: President Kurt Ziegler asked whether plans for the baseball diamond’s natural grass were final; Dr. DiPonio responded that the district is “set on natural grass” and that district staff have considered irrigation and upkeep plans. Trustees encouraged a site visit to Rodgers to view progress.
Next steps noted by Dr. DiPonio include completing remaining design work, preparing bid packages, and allocating remaining bond dollars for infrastructure projects across the district.
