The motion to approve the evaluation and contract extension was made by Kate Henson and seconded by Michelle Craig; the board voted 7–0 in favor. The record in the meeting notes a MASB score of 100 out of 100 and a rating of Effective.
Board discussion emphasized Kapolka’s leadership on safety and fiscal management. The approval carries the district’s stated expectation that the superintendent continue to prioritize student experience, staff support and responsible stewardship of district resources.
