"We have agreed upon the 1% salary increase for eligible employees," Alana Cartier, NEA Santa Fe vice president, told trustees as she summarized compensation and employee support changes.
The agreement also includes adjusted stipends for high‑need positions and a one‑time retention stipend equal to 1% of annual base salary for qualifying employees who return for the next school year; the stipend will be paid in two installments (50% in December and 50% in May). The board approved the measure by voice vote after trustees moved and seconded the motion to adopt the agreement.
