District administrators presented the Mason High School and Mason Middle School seminar-hour offerings and explained the pupil accounting auditor requires board approval to include these classes in the course guide. The board approved adding MHS WIN, MHS Wellness WIN, MHS Ties, MMS WIN and MMS Advisory to the corresponding school course guides; the motion by Steve Duane and supported by Amy Lark carried 6-0.
Board approval makes the non-graded seminar-hour classes official for pupil accounting purposes and allows the district to offer the classes as part of the 2025–26 course catalog. The action was recorded as both an approval of the non-graded classes and a course-guide update in a single motion.
