The Mason Board of Education convened Aug. 14 at Mason City Hall and approved its agenda before moving through a packed consent docket that included $3,047,069.59 in General Fund payments and other fund disbursements. The consent agenda—approved on a motion by Amy Lark and supported by Matt Bennett—also included Personnel Report No. 3 and Financial Report No. 4; the vote on the consent items was 6-0.
