The Algonac Board of Education approved its consent agenda at the May 19, 2025 regular meeting, accepting minutes, personnel items and the treasurer's report.
"It was moved by Emery, supported by Baker, that the Board of Education approves all consent agenda items, including agenda, minutes, personnel items, treasurer's report and bills as listed Items A through C," the minutes record. The motion passed on a roll call vote, Ayes 5, Nays 0.
Personnel actions listed in the minutes included retirements and resignations: Ivonne Derra (Algonac Jr./Sr. High School teacher), Betsy Schuman (Algonquin Elementary teacher), Julie Tovarez (elementary STEM teacher) and Renee Wilson (Algonquin Elementary teacher).
