Junior-high students show 9/11 project 'Rebels in the Spotlight'; student council outlines events

Mr. Caleb Uselton and junior-high students Isla Martin, Abel Whitten and Willow Nash presented a video titled "Rebels in the Spotlight" that showcased Social Studies activities marking the 23rd anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks.
Board member Nena Cox said she appreciated the lessons and that the activities sparked meaningful conversations at home. During the visitors segment, Student Council President Lewis Beckham reported a successful bonfire, announced a first-ever Executive Board–Administration meeting to be held every other month, and previewed an Oct. 18 Leadership Workshop themed "Let Our Leadership Grow."
