Board approves consent agenda, grant application and equipment purchases in unanimous votes

At its Dec. 5 meeting the Meridian board unanimously approved the consent agenda (AP $356,927.33), authorized applying for a School Maintenance Grant, approved purchase of a work truck and plow, and approved Press Issue 117 updates.
The board approved several items by unanimous vote. On the consent agenda the board approved accounts payable totaling $356,927.33; the motion was made by DeVries and seconded by Welden and noted as verified by Rhodes and Welden.
In new business the board authorized staff to apply for the School Maintenance Grant (motion Collins, second Rhodes) and approved the purchase of a new work truck and plow for Building and Grounds (motion Welden, second Rhodes). In unfinished business the board approved updates to Press Issue 117 (motion DeVries, second Collins). All recorded votes in the minutes were unanimous.
