Parent Nathan Maahs told the board he was "very encouraged by the presentation given by the PSAC" and suggested that open enrollment could increase community uptake of wraparound services. He framed his comments around supporting more technical and relevant training for students.
Nathan Maahs also said the district's handling of his recent move within the district was incorrect, noting that district and Board President John Smith had sought and followed guidance from the Deputy Election Clerk and the State Election Office but that the process still "was done wrong." He said he plans to attend more meetings to continue to challenge the board on the issue.
