The Dakota CUSD 201 Board of Education approved a Cardiac Emergency Response Plan presented by Elementary Principal Ginnie Cunningham. The plan was drafted to satisfy State of Illinois requirements and is intended for inclusion in school handbooks.
Shane Riggle moved to approve the plan and Mike Alexander seconded; the motion passed 7–0. The minutes note the plan was drafted to meet state requirements and that the board approved adding it to handbooks for implementation in the district’s schools.
