Swan Valley board approves banks, signers and legal counsel for 2025

At the Jan. 8 special meeting the Swan Valley School District Board approved Huntington Bank, Flagstar, Fifth Third Bank, Independent Bank, Bank of America, The State Bank and Mercantile Bank as official depositories for district funds. The motion carried with an aye vote of 7 and no opposing votes recorded.
The board also designated the superintendent or designee as authorized signers on checks, contracts and purchase orders, and approved the superintendent or designee as authorized to enter the district safety deposit box. The board named Thrun Law Firm and O’Neill, Wallace & Doyle P.C. to serve as legal counsel for the district.
