Shortly after the agenda was approved, the board voted to move into a closed session at 5:03 p.m. for two purposes expressly cited in the minutes: to consider "strategy connected with the negotiation of a collective bargaining agreement pursuant to MCL 15.268(1)(c)" and to consider "the written opinion of counsel pursuant to MCL 15.268(1)(h)." The motion to enter closed session was recorded as moved by G. Kevin Gross and supported by Kenyada Bowman and was approved by the full board.
